This is more than just a business move for Maricruz, she has a deep personal connection with her work. For much of her life, she suffered from cystic acne. This difficult condition caused extreme pain; mentally, physically and emotionally. She began to learn about skin health as a way to help heal her own wounds, along with the trials others like her are also facing.
